This means they sleep during the day and look for food at night. The spiders tend to have longer heads than other types of crickets and they have large spiked teeth which protrude from their mouths. One species even has an unusual blue hue to it. ![]() Colors can vary on the species of spider cricket which ranges from light browns, dark browns, greens, yellows, oranges, and reds depending on its habitat. Spider Crickets come in different sizes, but most range around 4–6 cm (1.5-2 inches) long when fully grown. The spider crickets vary greatly in size and coloration, but all possess some kind of protection against larger animals. These crickets are often confused with mantis or roaches due to their long antenna. Comments The spider cricket is a form of house cricket.
